Practice Representative – Lexington

About the role

Join a busy multispecialty outpatient practice as a Practice Representative supporting front-desk and patient access operations. You will welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out, coordinate follow-up appointments, and help patients navigate care across a variety of specialties.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Check patients in and verify demographic and insurance information
• Cole collect required co-payments and direct patients to the appropriate service area
• Complete patient check-out and schedule follow-up appointments
• Cookordinate related diagnostic and laboratory testing
• Schedule specialty services, including tests such as stress tests and echocardiograms
• Reschedule appointments and help address patient flow concerns
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient information
• Confirm prior authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications as needed
• Provide occasional telephone coverage and route information appropriately
• Communicate closely with patients, providers, families, and practice staff

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate's degree preferred
• 0-1 years related work experience required
• Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications

Pay Range $20.50 - $27.59

Full-time, 30 hours per week
Monday through Friday
