Practice Registered Nurse/LPN, Meredith- Full Time, Monday-Friday

About the role

The Clinical Practice Nurse 2 plays a key role in delivering expert, comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting. They are responsible for assessing, treating, and evaluating patient health, mentoring colleagues, and engaging in collaborative care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Establishes priorities and organizes daily activities to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Trains and educates patients, families, and caregivers on various topics related to their health.
• Documents health information, interventions, and outcomes in the patient electronic medical record.
• Delegates patient care activities ensuring tasks are completed satisfactorily and documented appropriately.
• Applies the nursing process to make informed clinical judgments and decisions.
• Completes annual practice-specific clinical skill competencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years' prior clinical nursing experience, preferably in a medical practice or office setting.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a multidisciplinary team, patients, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure required: New Hampshire Board of Nursing license.
• Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.
• Other professional certifications as needed specific to the position.
