Practice Referral Coordinator - Orthopedic Clinic

About the role

Responsible for obtaining necessary authorizations for office visits, surgeries, testing, and office procedures. Working with insurance companies to ensure that the proper documentation is sent for review, making follow-up calls to verify receipt of requests/records and to ensure prior authorizations are received.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries, tests, and pre-op appointments; explain preparations.
• Obtain deductible and copay information for surgeries, procedures, and office visits.
• Work with staff to ensure all payments are collected or payment plans are arranged.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
