About the Role

Medical Assistants (MA) support healthcare providers by delivering patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, maintaining documentation, and providing administrative support in outpatient settings. They work within their scope of practice under supervision, ensuring efficient daily operations aligned with standards of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of MA Clinic Academy training.
• Active MA certification; BLS certification preferred for outpatient departments.
• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care is preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Outpatient clinical setting with frequent patient interaction.
• Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and use of clinical equipment.
• Potential exposure to infectious materials with PPE provided.
• Physical ability to push, pull, reach, bend, kneel, and squat as needed.
