Practice Manager - Village Veterinary Clinic

About the role

Village Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join their team. This position is not a turnaround opportunity but rather a chance to build upon the foundation of a successful hospital.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business operations of the hospital while partnering with Dr. Keith Huston to ensure exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and a highly engaged team.
• Create efficient workflows that improve the client experience.
• Drive financial performance through labor, inventory, and operational management.
• Build a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee development.
• Partner with the Associate Practice Manager to leverage her years of knowledge while implementing new ideas.
• Work alongside Encore Vet Group's leadership team for continued professional growth and support.

Requirements

• Previous veterinary Practice Manager or multi-site leadership experience.
• Confidence in having difficult conversations while building trust.
• Loves coaching and developing people.
• Able to identify opportunities others may not see.
• Balances compassion with accountability.
• Understands veterinary financials and operational metrics.
• Thrives in a collaborative leadership environment.
• Wants to leave a legacy, not just manage a schedule.

Qualifications

• CVPM certification is a plus but not required.
