Practice Manager - Neurosurgical - Physician Practice

Responsibilities
- Affords to act as a liaison between the Practice Administrator, the providers, and the team members, coordinating activities between clinical and clerical team members to promote teamwork and facilitate communication.
- Manages team members and leads by example to ensure patients and visitors are greeted and cared for appropriately, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Monitors the flow of patients within the office, ensuring team members and patients are informed of any delays.
- Improves patient satisfaction through specific and measurable actions, providing regular progress reports to administration.
- Addresses facility issues, coordinates property work orders and repairs, and ensures required approvals are obtained.
- Works with the Practice Administrator to develop and implement goals and objectives, recommending and implementing organization policies and procedures, and overseeing all areas of office operations.
- Ensures the office has adequate inventory and monitors purchasing while staying within budget parameters.
- Seeks out opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce expenses.
- Oversees billing practices within the office, ensuring accurate data entry, charge and payment posting, and end-of-day procedures are completed.
- Keeps abreast of reimbursement procedures and insurance requirements and regulations, running billing reports regularly.
- Maintains records of daily deposits, monitors physician performance and productivity, and provides necessary feedback to improve efficiencies.
- Prepares monthly reports on visits, new patient volumes, hospital volumes, surgical volumes, expense variances, OT Explanations, and revenue for submission to the Practice Administrator.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- Lifts a minimum of 5 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 5 lbs., and stands a minimum of 1 hour a day.
Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience or an Associate's degree in Business Management or a related health field.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, positive attitude, ability to multitask, organized, flexible.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

- Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
- Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
- Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
