Practice Manager - Internal Medicine

Full-time, day shift position based at 4 Palisades Dr, Albany, NY. This role oversees ten providers across two adjoining suites.

About the Role

The Manager of Physician Practice is responsible for the efficient daily operations of assigned offices. Reporting to the Practice Administrator, you will ensure the practice adheres to OSHA, JCAHO, and DOH requirements while performing all duties in a manner consistent with St. Peter’s Health Partner’s Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor administrative and clinical systems supporting patient care.
• Facilitate collegial relationships between care teams.
• Manage human, fiscal, material, and facility resources.
• Support, plan, implement, and evaluate program goals, policies, and patient-focused care.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including medical records, human resources, property, facilities, equipment, and billing.
• Hire and supervise support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned (must be able to lift 20 lbs).

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in the medical field.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective speaking and writing skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and respect.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work independently while functioning collaboratively within a team.

Pay

Pay range: $31.50 - $45.70 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary by location.

Schedule

Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
