Practice Manager III
About the role
The Practice Manager III position at St. Marks Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. This role oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the clinics, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs the day-to-day functions of the clinics and their programs and activities.
- Implements written policies and procedures that govern the operations of the clinics.
- Counsels and evaluates staff positions.
- Interprets and communicates the practice’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, government agencies, etc.
- Reviews and updates the practice’s policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and makes recommendations to ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Maintains an effective liaison with patients and the medical profession, providers, and other health-related facilities and organizations.
- Maintains a positive public relations program that serves the interests of the practice and the community.
- Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires practice personnel, supervisors, and staff members.
- Ensures an adequate number of appropriately trained professionals and personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the patients.
- Assumes administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for directing the activities and programs of the market/division.
- Develops and maintains the practice budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in health or business administration or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.
