About the role

The Practice Manager oversees and directs the functions associated with the assigned clinics at Northwest Specialty Hospital. This position ensures compliance with hospital and corporate policies, conducts fiscal functions according to GAAP, and maintains the integrity and confidentiality of patient and staff records.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee registration, billing, collection, and medical records departments
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and corporate policies
  • Conduct fiscal functions in accordance with GAAP
  • Ensure billing and coding practices adhere to all relevant laws
  • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of patient, staff, and physician information
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical and billing records
  • Project a professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality
  • Lead and direct the work of others

Requirements

  • Eligibility for employment in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Critical thinking and analytic skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Understanding of medical terminology and quality improvement processes
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Healthcare management preferred
