About the role

As an Associate Practice Manager at Oak Street Health, you will lead and manage operations at a single primary care clinic location in accordance with company values and standards. You will supervise clinical and non-clinical team members, support operational initiatives, drive your team toward achieving patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary team of 15+.
  • Ensure the center is a Great Place to Work, fostering team engagement and demonstrating company Values and Service Behaviors.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient functioning, including staffing, coverage for absences, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide an unmatched patient experience and perform service recovery as needed.
  • Drive results for patients by ensuring adherence to Oak Street Health’s care model, including standard meetings, huddles, and best practices for preventive care.
  • Support the clinical and service team in achieving patient experience, clinical outcomes, and team member experience metrics.
  • Lead the implementation of in-clinic operational initiatives, including training teams on new workflows.
  • Ensure efficient execution of patient scheduling processes.
  • Oversee clinical and community areas, handle building-related issues in partnership with the Facilities team, and serve as the point of contact for the alarm monitoring company.
  • Use Oak Street Health’s proprietary software, reporting systems, and EMR to monitor task completion and workflows.
  • Partner with the Center Medical Director and Associate Outreach Manager to lead the center as a triad, making collaborative decisions that support patients, the team, and center profitability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings.
  • Proficient PC skills.
  • US work authorization.

Qualifications

  • Strongly Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field.
    • 5 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting.
    • Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by the communities served (where necessary).
    • Experience successfully driving teams toward achievement of metrics.
    • Experience with Google Suite.

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Anticipated weekly hours: 40.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $46,988.00 - $102,000.00 annually. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
