Responsibilities
Leading a Land Development team
Building and managing relationships with key clients
Operating with integrity and sound business principles
Providing vision, business planning, and strategy
Establishing goals
Growing and leading a land development practice
Managing and directing projects profitably
Transferring work to qualified staff
Growing and mentoring staff
Acting as a positive leader and mentor
Writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
Communicating positively at all levels of the organization
Mentoring and managing staff effectively
Managing and directing resources effectively
Qualifications
15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and/or land owners
Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
Effective communication at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage and mentor staff
Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus a lucrative bonus program rewarding performance and business growth. Salary Range: $150,000- $200,000
