Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Practice Leader to expand their Land Development practice in Bellevue, WA!

Responsibilities

  • Leading a Land Development team

  • Building and managing relationships with key clients

  • Operating with integrity and sound business principles

  • Providing vision, business planning, and strategy

  • Establishing goals

  • Growing and leading a land development practice

  • Managing and directing projects profitably

  • Transferring work to qualified staff

  • Growing and mentoring staff

  • Acting as a positive leader and mentor

  • Writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work

  • Communicating positively at all levels of the organization

  • Mentoring and managing staff effectively

  • Managing and directing resources effectively

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects

  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and/or land owners

  • Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D

  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work

  • Effective communication at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to manage and mentor staff

  • Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably

Pay

Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus a lucrative bonus program rewarding performance and business growth. Salary Range: $150,000- $200,000
