Practice Coordinator - Family Medicine - Arrowhead Regional Medical Center

Responsibilities
- Act as the coordinator for the site Vituity leadership and interface for the practice to the hospital and community.
- Coordinate the provider team with hospital C-Suite, nursing leadership, nursing staff, and Vituity support team.
- Provide administrative support to the site medical director and site management team.
- Support the Medical Director and/or Site Management Team with site financials, including contract stipends, expense reimbursements, and site payroll timecards.
- Serve as the super user for all Vituity software applications and as a point person for hospital software and hardware systems.
- Support Vituity providers as a percipient witness in criminal or civil disputes, including receiving and routing subpoenas, scheduling depositions and trial testimony, developing provider fee schedules, and liaising with malpractice carriers.
- Provide office support, including meeting coordination, office systems, supplies, site events, position procedure manuals, and customer service.
- Facilitate all aspects of the daily patient census and attend daily multi-disciplinary rounds, as applicable to the practice line.
- Ensure adequate coverage for the site clinical schedules with no disruption to patient care.
- Collect minimal data metrics as applicable to the site practice.
- Provide administrative support for site operational programs, including Operations Meetings, Patient Experience Program, Quality/Performance Improvement Program, Advanced Provider and/or Scribe Programs, and Student or Resident rotations.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or Site Management Team to ensure recruiting, on-boarding, and compliance for new providers, employees, locums, reservists, residents, and students.
- Ensure all licensed providers complete recredentialing for licensing, certificates, and credentials required by Vituity and the hospital Medical Staff Office.
- Ensure site partners and employees remain in compliance with Vituity and hospital programs, including mandated training.
- Act as the point person for Vituity People Operations (Human Resources), ensuring accurate site rosters and compliance with employment law and Vituity policies.
- Manage all medical records and data submission to Revenue Cycle Management in a timely manner, including appropriate charge capture and follow-up.
- Ensure billing and documentation compliance through completion of site WIP/TAD lists and addressing provider questions.
- Complete mandated forms and requests, including death certificates, physician office requests, state-specific Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Department reporting, and pharmacy requests.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years of administrative experience in an office or healthcare setting required.
- Associate degree in a related healthcare or healthcare administration field preferred.
- Experience working in the healthcare field preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.
- Intermediate MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- Strong consultation skills and the ability to seek out information.

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center – Colton, California
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a 456-bed university-affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health, operated by San Bernardino County, and governed by the Board of Supervisors. The hospital operates the Edward G. Hirschman Burn Center, a trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, a behavioral health center, and five family health centers. It also provides more than 40 outpatient specialty care services. Vituity-staffed Emergency Department and acute psychiatry offer integrated care solutions at this site.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $22.90 - $28.63 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, based on the company’s annual performance. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, education, and experience, with consideration for internal equity.
