Practice Assistant Lead

About the role
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of clinical practice, providing leadership to the clinic team, and enhancing patient care delivery. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills who can effectively manage administrative tasks while supervising support staff.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor clinic support staff, including administrative and clinical assistants.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient appointments and manage patient flow.
- Implement and maintain clinic policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in training new staff and providing ongoing education for existing staff.
- Manage patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure satisfaction and compliance with standards.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
- 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding processes.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This role does not accept experience in lieu of a degree.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- Onsite with hybrid option after 90 days of training.
- 40 scheduled weekly hours.
Pay
Starting pay range: $21.73 - $31.02/hourly. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, including experience, education, and relevant skills.
