Practical Nursing Instructor - Didactic/Clinical
About the role
We are seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor – Didactic/Clinical at our Miami Campus. This position involves providing direct instruction in Practical Nurse didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical courses, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and safe nursing practice standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver PN curriculum content using approved teaching methodologies
- Supervise students in Clinicals and laboratory settings
- Evaluate student performance using standardized assessment tools
- Participate in student remediation and retention initiatives
- Maintain clinical competence and instructional effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Active, Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) Florida State license
- Minimum three (3) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish and English required
