Practical Nursing Instructor - Adult Education
General Description
CiTi BOCES is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor who will be responsible for student instruction for the Adult Education Practical Nursing Program.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years as RN
- RN with Nursing Education MSN or RN with Bachelor's Degree, pursuing Nursing Education MSN.
- Successful candidate can enroll in MSN upon hire.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver theory instruction aligned with course outcomes;
- Develop and maintain instructional materials;
- Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback;
- Maintain accurate records;
- Sustain a safe, positive and professional learning environment;
- Collaborate with faculty via meetings, trainings, curriculum development sessions and contributing instructional recommendations and feedback;
- Offer guidance that promotes student success, program readiness and professionalism;
- Deliver Lab and Clinical instruction, including pre- and post- clinical discussions, as scheduled;
- Fulfill additional program needs as assigned, including providing classroom, lab or clinical coverage as appropriate.
Timeframe
January through December, annually.
Compensation
- Health benefits available
- Same holiday break schedule as CiTi's K-12 school calendar
- 8 Fridays off between July and August, annually
