PRAC Associate Athletic Trainer

About the role

Covering a range of orthopedic specialties, this position at Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO) requires a candidate with a strong background in orthopedic surgery. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Performing orthopedic surgeries under the supervision of experienced surgeons.
• Assisting in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including consultations and follow-up appointments.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on the latest orthopedic techniques and technologies through continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• A current license to practice medicine in the state of Indiana.
• Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program.
• Experience in orthopedic surgery preferred.
