The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is a federally recognized Indian Tribe located in Palm Springs, California, with 32,000 acres of reservation lands spanning Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, and the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains. Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the team’s project management workflow system
  • Create and maintain project timelines, task assignments, and deliverables
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, timelines, and workflows to ensure smooth and efficient operations and that projects stay on schedule
  • Facilitate communication between team members to maintain alignment on project goals and deadlines
  • Track project status and provide regular updates to department leadership on deadlines, project milestones, and outcomes
  • Identify and resolve workflow challenges to enhance efficiencies
  • Comply with all applicable standard operating procedures and Tribal Regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (degree major with an emphasis in liberal arts or social science preferred)
  • 5-7+ years of experience in project management within marketing or public relations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Advanced skills in writing reports and business correspondence
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects accurately and efficiently under time constraints with little supervision
  • High level of professional judgment, tact, and confidentiality
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with workflow management systems and digital asset management
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new applications and programs as well as developing creative solutions

Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ miles, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift
  • May be subjected to a smoke-filled environment
  • Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis
  • Sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones
  • Must be able to travel 35% of the time in and out of the Palm Springs, California area
