About the role
We are seeking a motivated PR Intern to support our efforts in establishing and maintaining relationships with corporate donors, specifically focusing on securing IT resource donations and managing donor communications.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Draft and send professional emails to potential corporate donors requesting IT resource donations
- Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective donors
- Track outreach efforts and donor responses
- Aid in crafting compelling donation appeals
- Support additional PR initiatives as needed
Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in PR, marketing, or donor relations preferred but not required
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interest in neuroscience, brain-computer interfaces, or consciousness studies (preferred)
Time Commitment
- 1 hour weekly organization meeting
- 1 hour daily co-working sessions
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- At least 6 months commitment
