PR & Content Manager

  • Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media

  • Plan and execute public relations initiatives that build and nurture a favorable public image for CU Direct within multiple vertical markets

  • Create press releases and other media-related correspondence

  • Maintain PR/News pages on corporate and brand websites

  • Identify and train appropriate staff for media interviews

  • Monitor and report performance data for all PR activities

  • Manage annual public relations budget in alignment with marketing budget

  • Provide regularly scheduled reporting and monthly presentations to management

Content Creation Management

  • Work closely with marketing team to develop a content strategy that aligns with marketing goals and drives high engagement

  • Plan and execute content initiatives including blog articles, case studies, white papers, editorials, and other forms of owned media that positions CU Direct as a thought-leader in multiple vertical markets

  • Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure regular content throughout the year

  • Keep up to date with industry best practice and monitor content activities of competitor websites

  • Track web analytics to ascertain engagement levels and evaluate the impact of content to continuously improve engagement strategy

  • Manage and nurture outsource content writers to create impactful and accurate content across multiple channels

  • Work with digital marketing writer to monitor social media and online conversations, and respond with appropriate messaging

  • Repurpose content for social media and blog

  • Work closely with marketing team to develop blog strategy that aligns with digital marketing goals (SEO, SEM)

Pay

The starting salary range for this full-time position is $99,400 - $124,300 per year. Base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors.
