Responsibilities

• Operates and assists in the operation of the warehouse(s)
• Participates in receipt, storage, and issuance activities involving supplies, materials, equipment, and spare parts
• Maintains perpetual inventory controls both manually and using a computer terminal
• Purchases parts and materials and deals with vendors for a large division
• Maintains an efficient reclamation program for the return to inventory of usable items
• Updates plant and property records as required

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent
• Three (3) years of experience in warehousing in a similar working environment

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and telephone
• May be required to work overtime or alternate hours as necessary for the efficient operation of the department
• Position may be designated as Mission Critical by Department Director
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises
• Must have visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
