About the role
Assists Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Nurse Practice Act, in respective working state.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physicians with care and assessment of patients
- Work within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and State Licensing
- Complete required orientations and practice orientations
- Ensure compliance with patient care standards and policies
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
- Lift and assist with patient transfers as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of nursing
- Current state Licensed Practice Nurse license
- CPR certification
- Sufficient previous clinical experience (during training)
- Experience in customer service, prioritization, and independent work
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
Qualifications
- Must have completed General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation
- Must have a current state Licensed Practice Nurse license
- Must have current CPR certification
- Additional certifications may be required for specific areas
