Responsibilities
- Assist Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of a school of nursing.
- Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required.
- Must have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license.
- Must have current CPR certification.
- Must have sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in area of assignment.
- Must demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently.
- Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Practice Nurse license and current CPR certification.
- Additional certifications may be required for specific areas.
- Other qualifications: Sufficient previous clinical experience, experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently, good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, ability to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
