Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Support construction accounting activities, including job costing, budget tracking, contract management, change orders, and funding sources.
- Prepare and maintain detailed construction cost reports.
- Process construction-related billings and vendor invoices.
- Partner with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Assist with preparing monthly lender draw packages and supporting documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience with accounts payable and general accounting functions.
- Construction accounting or job-cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Yardi (Voyager, Construction, Procure-to-Pay, or related modules preferred).
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset and desire to take on increasing responsibility.
