About the role
This internship focuses on developing power system simulation and optimization tools for AI datacenter applications.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to industrial research projects involving power system simulation and analysis
- Develop, implement, and validate models using Matlab/Simulink and PSCAD for steady-state and dynamic studies
- Create models in OPAL-RT and perform controller-hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Conduct electromagnetic transient (EMT) and RMS simulations to support power system design and stability analysis
Requirements
- MS or PhD student or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with Matlab/Simulink for modeling and control
- Proficiency in PSCAD and OPAL-RT for simulations
- Solid understanding of power systems fundamentals
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills

- Experience with power system studies and software development practices

Location
Work will be on-site in Princeton, NJ, in a stimulating environment promoting innovation and problem-solving, with exposure to real-world industrial applications. Candidates must comply with US Export Control laws.
