Primary Responsibilities
- Business Process Automation
- Design, build, and deploy low-code automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
- Migrate legacy Automation Anywhere bots to Power Platform-based workflows.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Teams, Azure services, Dataverse, SharePoint, and external APIs.
- Follow Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices: environment strategy, CI/CD pipelines, solution packaging, and source control.
- Implement governance and security standards including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Role Based Access Control (RBAC), auditing, and change control.
- Optimize solution performance and reliability via monitoring, logging, and error handling.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Mentor junior builders and contribute to templates, patterns, and reusable components.
- Establish and maintain repositories and knowledge bases for the storing, organization and sharing of all levels of system documentation.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Negotiate trade-offs with business leadership to get work completed within acceptable timelines, risks and resources.
- Cook up and coordinate with third-party vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and feature deployments.
- Write RFP proposals for the solicitation of new vendor products or contract service support.
- Negotiate priorities and ensure service-level agreements are met.
- Optimizing System & Data Architecture
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support.
- Monitor system performance and ensure enhancements improve efficiency and/or reliability.
- Recommend best practices, process automation, and system governance improvements.
- Work with Solution and Data Architects and Tech Leads to design scalable solutions.
- Risk Assessment & Impact Analysis
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage collaboration and dependencies across multiple efforts impacting the same systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
- 10+ experience delivering enterprise-grade business process/robotic process automation solutions.
- Deep experience in Power Automate (cloud/RPA), Power Apps (canvas/model-driven), Copilot Studio.
- Experience building agentic solutions via Copilot Studio or Azure OpenAI.
- Experience in "vibe-coding" platforms like GitHub Copilot, Replit, etc.
- Strong integration skills with Azure Functions, APIs, SQL/Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams.
- Understanding of ALM, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- Experience integrating with external cloud platforms like Box and Salesforce
- Solid grasp of governance, security, and compliance in a Microsoft ecosystem.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving.
- Pro-code experience strongly preferred but low-code citizen development experience also valuable.
- (Senior) Pro-code development experience (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python) strongly preferred for building custom connectors, extending Power Platform capabilities, and handling complex integrations.
- (Senior) Ability to lead architecture, solution design, and mentor team members.
- Experience in financial services preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate required.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert preffered.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) required.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) preferred.
- Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional (nice-to-have for migration work) preferred.
