Power Platform Engineer

About the role

This is a 6-12 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement low-code applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Lead the scaling and optimization of low-code solutions for enterprise use
• Mentor and upskill junior developers to support low-code and AI-driven solutions
• Utilize AI tools such as MS CoPilot, ChatGPT, and Tachyon to enhance automation and efficiency
• Work with HR and workforce data to develop tailored solutions that improve operational processes

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and developing low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform - Power BI, CoPilot, Power Apps, AI Builder, Power Automate, etc.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows, Notebooks, Data Wrangler, etc.)
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• AI capacity: Integration with Microsoft stack, top preference CoPilot
• Excellent Communication Skills

Nice To Have

• Alteryx Platform experience
• Experience working with HR/workforce data - the data sets they were with are in Workday
• Prior experience leading development teams or mentoring engineers
• Prior banking background - Wells Fargo, Bank of America, US Bank, etc
• Background in data analytics and automation
