Power Platform Developer / Solutions Architect

About the role

Thompson Gray is seeking a motivated and experienced Power Platform Developer / Solutions Architect to support the U.S. Army in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will support digital business transformation efforts by designing, developing, and sustaining data analytics products, workflow automations, and business applications. The selected candidate will work closely with functional owners, subject matter experts, analysts, and end users to translate business and technical requirements into effective data-driven solutions. The role includes developing applications in Power Apps, automating workflows with Power Automate, and building executive-ready dashboards and reports in Power BI. Location: Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, analysts, and end users to gather requirements and identify business process improvement opportunities.
• Design, develop, and maintain Canvas Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports to support mission and business operations.
• Build data models and visualizations that integrate information from multiple sources and support decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Perform end-to-end solution development, including requirements gathering, data source identification, data wrangling, data modeling, report development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Develop dashboards and reports using data visualization best practices to present complex information in a clear and actionable format.
• Support administration, configuration, maintenance, and sustainment of Army-hosted Power BI and related Microsoft 365 environments.
• Provide technical and functional support for digital processes, knowledge management solutions, and workflow automation initiatives.
