Power Generation Technician

About the role

NC Power Systems are seeking a Power Generation Technician at their Tukwila WA Branch. This role is crucial to the company, where technicians diagnose, repair, and install industrial engines, including OEM and EPG preparations, in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install industrial engines (including OEM and EPG)
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs
• Perform tear downs and cleanings
• Order parts by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS)
• Communicate with Engineering, end-users, customers, and other team members
• Maintain administrative requirements to complete paperwork (including service reports)

Requirements

• Preferred degree in Diesel Technology
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine experience
• Must possess your own tools
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers license

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
