Power Generation Senior EIT 2

Responsibilities

• Lead civil site engineering tasks
• Interface with clients on civil site tasks
• Lead assigned project teams
• Develop civil site proposals
• Manage assigned project tasks (schedules, budgets, and quality of work)
• Travel overnight to Project sites domestically, focusing on the mid-Atlantic regions of the United States
• Create Site Grading Plans
• Create Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
• Create Stormwater Management Plans
• Create Hydrologic and Hydraulic / Drainage Plans
• Create Utility Design and Relocation Plans
• Create Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plans
• Conduct Geotechnical Investigations
• Prepare Permit Applications (earth disturbance permits, building permits, land development plans, high occupancy permits, etc.)
• Create Access Road Section Development
• Create Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Quality Control Plans
• Create Construction Cost Estimates
• Support Owner's Engineer during construction
• Conduct Field Investigations

Requirements

This position is eligible for our flexible hybrid or remote work schedules.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. Engineering degree
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtained engineer-in-training (EIT) or engineering-intern (EI) certification

Skills

Technical Responsibilities: - Performs moderate design tasks. - Prepares portions of plans, specifications, and other project documents. - Performs research and field investigation.

Project and Task Management: - Works as a part of a team and coordinates work with others. - Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements.

Management Responsibility: - Receives instruction on specific objectives. - Receives direction on unconventional and/or complex problems and possible solutions. - Receives a thorough review of completed work for the application of sound professional judgment.

Communication Skills: - Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. - Interacts with other staff. - Interacts with clients with close oversight. - Interacts closely with Project Managers & various Department Managerial Staff, especially with client communications. - Interacts with clients at regular project meetings.
