Power Generation Mechanical Engineering
Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Power Generation Mechanical Engineering Intern in Germantown, WI, Concord, WI, or Paris, WI. This role will begin in May/June 2027 and will be full-time through the summer.

Job Summary

Join a team of multi-disciplinary engineers supporting the operation, maintenance, performance, and optimization of our Power Plant locations. Receive mentoring and guidance from experienced engineers within Power Generation. Provide a vital support role to our generating fleet through a period of transition. Network with other engineering intern students throughout the fleet.

- Project support
- Assist in managing small projects
- Equipment reliability
- Equipment and plant performance and optimization
- Drawing reviews and updates
- Procedure reviews and updates
- Ensure adherence to codes and Standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering majors with a graduation date after June 2026
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- Valid driver's license
Pay
The starting hourly rate for this position is \$23.10 with paid company holidays.
