Power Generation/HVAC - Instrumentation & Controls Technician

Responsibilities
Primary duties include following all applicable safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, participating in safety training activities, and reporting any unsafe conditions. The role also involves installing, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing power house and supervisory systems, as well as implementing a preventative maintenance schedule and maintaining inventory records.
- Installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, makes program changes and corrections, repairs and overhauls all power house and supervisory systems
- Implements a preventative maintenance schedule
- Maintains inventory of spare parts and inventory records
- Assists outside service engineers
- Maintains maintenance and repair records
- Reads process and instrument diagrams
- Programs programmable data loggers and controllers
- Generates hard copy records of ladder logics and files
Qualifications
A High School Diploma/GED is required, and an Associate degree in Instrument Technology, Electronic Technology, Computer Technology or related field is preferred. Experience with Powerhouse, Power Generation and or HVAC is strongly preferred.

- Ability to enter data and use computers and data input devices, email, application and office software
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair remote and local control systems for HVAC, Gas Turbines, Boilers, Air compressors, Generators and Valves
Requirements
A valid State of Wisconsin Drivers License is required, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including working in confined spaces and wearing breathing apparatus for confined entry.
