Responsibilities

Primary duties include following all applicable safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and participating in all required safety training activities. The role also involves installing, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, making program changes and corrections, repairing and overhauling all power house and supervisory systems, indicating, recording, telemetering, and controlling instruments used to measure and control variables.

  • Implements a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Maintains inventory of spare parts and inventory records
  • Assists outside service engineers
  • Maintains maintenance and repair records
  • Reads process and instrument diagrams
  • Programs programmable data loggers and controllers
  • Generates hard copy records of ladder logics and files

Qualifications

A High School Diploma/GED is required, and an Associate degree in Instrument Technology, Electronic Technology, Computer Technology or related field is preferred.

  • Communicates effectively via written and oral methods with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and others when necessary
  • Ability to enter data and use computers and data input devices, email, application and office software
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair remote and local control systems for HVAC, Gas Turbines, Boilers, Air compressors, Generators and Valves
  • Ability to troubleshoot sensing devices for pressure, temperature, UV, motion and fluid flow

A valid State of Wisconsin Drivers License is required.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, work in confined spaces, and wear breathing apparatus for confined entry.
