Power Field Engineer

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally and provide innovative/best in class power solutions.
• Travel to and from customer locations.
• Perform site surveys based on customer project requirements.
• Interact with customers to achieve optimum equipment layouts.
• Document site survey results using company processes.
• Build bill of materials required to implement customer projects.
• Update Central Office plan drawings and records as required.
• Provide customers with engineering specifications, materials lists and detailed drawings.
• Aid and support installation as required during the implementation phase.
• Provide equipment technical and customer requirement support as required to support installation teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of various telecom power systems.
• Extensive knowledge of power requirements for Verizon, Verizon Wireless, Sprint/Nextel, AT&T, and various other telecommunications companies.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook email.
• Auto CAD experience a plus.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Handle confidential/ sensitive information.
• Good judgment.
• Organizational skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Clean driving record.

Education and/or Experience

• Associates degree and/or minimum of two years of industry related experience.
• Two to three years engineering related experience a plus.

Pay Range

• Pay Range in the United States: $60K - $90K based upon geography, skills, and experience.
• May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance.
• Pay Range in the United States: $29 - $43 based upon geography, skills, and experience.
• May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance.
