Power Equipment Shop Technician, Broussard LA

About the Role

This is a full-time position located in Broussard, LA, requiring availability on a 24/7 rotation basis to respond to customer and company needs.

Responsibilities

• Buff, clean, and paint throughout multiple stations.
• Use hand and portable tools safely to prepare equipment.
• Build and rebuild equipment to pressure test.
• Deliver and pick up equipment as per customer requirements.
• Load and unload tools using a forklift when necessary.
• Understand and consistently adhere to the Company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and objectives.
• Follow Company procedures and work instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Attend required Company training and apply learning.
• Assess work environment risks by reviewing risk assessments and adhering to Hazard Identification and Job Safety Analysis programs.
• Adhere to the Stop Work Authority Program; stop work when perceiving unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Report any incidents or issues to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience may be considered at management’s discretion.
• Must be 21 years or older due to insurance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Satisfactory background check.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the industry.
• Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
