Power BI Specialist | Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement Power BI governance, standards, and best practices.
• Lead BI initiatives and mentor Power BI developers across teams.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data strategies and roadmaps.
• Build complex, interactive dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and business metrics.
• Develop data models and DAX calculations to optimize performance and usability.
• Integrate multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.) into robust reporting layers.
• Ensure data quality, security, and consistency across reports and data sources.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and role-based access controls.
• Support data warehouse and ETL processes in collaboration with data engineering teams.
• Partner with business units to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Conduct workshops and training for users on Power BI tools and capabilities.
• Present insights and dashboard prototypes to executives and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BI/reporting with at least 3 years in Power BI.
• Strong experience in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M language).
• Deep knowledge of relational databases and SQL (T-SQL preferred).
• Experience leading BI teams or cross-functional analytics projects.
