Power BI ETL Tester
About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Test Lead to drive quality assurance for ETL, Business Intelligence (BI), and database systems. In this role, you will lead strategy, execution, and governance to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and high-quality deliverables. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to establish best practices, improve sing frameworks, and deliver robust data-driven solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of comprehensive s plans for ETL processes, BI systems, and database platforms
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and system reliability across all sing phases
Oversee end-to-end validation of data pipelines and reporting systems
Perform ETL validation to verify data transformations and alignment with business requirements
Conduct BI validation to ensure reporting accuracy and analytics reliability
Validate data integrity using SQL and database sing techniques
Provide subject matter expertise in Informatica sing
Validate data integration workflows, mappings, and transformations
Develop and maintain s metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
Track progress, identify risks, and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Collaborate with development teams to identify, track, and resolve defects
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sing methodologies and processes
Promote best practices to improve sing efficiency and effectiveness
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand sing requirements and priorities
Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making
Communicate sing results clearly through structured reports and presentations
Document s cases, results, and validation reports
Maintain clear records of s execution and outcomes
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and training to enhance team capabilities
Required Qualifications
Strong expertise in ETL, BI, and database sing in enterprise environments
Proven experience with s metrics, reporting, and quality governance frameworks
Advanced knowledge of ETL validation and data transformation sing
Strong experience with SQL and database validation techniques
Experience validating BI tools and reporting systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Domain experience in research and development or data-intensive industries
Familiarity with data governance and regulatory compliance standards
Exposure to automation tools and modern QA frameworks
Experience working in hybrid or distributed team environments
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous process improvements
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000 per year
Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and location
Eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentive compensation
