Power BI Developer Administrator with Python Automation

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer/Administrator with strong expertise in Power BI development, platform administration, and Python automation.

Responsibilities

• Power BI Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and dataflows
  • Develop complex DAX measures and Power Query M transformations
  • Connect Power BI to SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Oracle, and other enterprise data sources
  • Optimize report performance and improve user experience
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Power BI Administration
  • Administer Power BI Service, Premium/Fabric capacities, gateways, and workspaces
  • Configure tenant settings, deployment pipelines, and workspace governance
  • Manage user access, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Microsoft Entra ID security groups
  • Monitor refresh schedules, capacity utilization, gateway performance, and platform health
  • Perform tenant administration, licensing management, backup, and disaster recovery activities
  • Support platform upgrades, migrations, and environment management
• Python Automation
  • Develop Python scripts to automate Power BI administrative tasks
  • Automate dataset refreshes, report deployments, workspace management, and metadata extraction
  • Integrate Power BI with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, Azure services, and ServiceNow
  • Build automated monitoring, health checks, notifications, and reporting solutions
  • Develop self-service automation tools for Power BI operations
• Platform Support
  • Troubleshoot report, gateway, refresh, and connectivity issues
  • Perform root cause analysis for production incidents
  • Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, cloud, and security teams
