Power BI Business Intelligence Lead

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Power BI Business Intelligence Lead to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead the design and delivery of business intelligence solutions that help program and operational leaders make data-driven decisions. The position will focus on building reliable dashboards, improving reporting consistency, and turning complex data into clear performance insights. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, validate data, and standardize reporting practices across multiple initiatives. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various programs and initiatives
• Collaborate with program managers and business leaders to define reporting requirements
• Develop intuitive dashboards highlighting KPIs, performance, and operational metrics
• Integrate data from multiple systems including SharePoint, Excel, SQL, APIs, and cloud sources
• Ensure quality and accuracy of dashboards through data validation processes
• Standardize dashboard layouts and design practices across programs
• Document architecture, data sources, calculations, and reporting procedures

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience
• Proficiency in developing interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
• Skilled in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple projects

Pay

$107,500 – $204,500 annually
