About the role

The Business Intelligence Lead role focuses on leading and developing data & BI solutions for Group Insurance. This includes working with business leaders to design and develop scalable reports and dashboards, ensuring consistent and high-quality end-to-end BI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders to understand project requirements and develop integrated, end-to-end BI solutions.
  • Oversee and guide BI & data resources across the delivery lifecycle to ensure consistency and end-to-end quality.
  • Lead prioritization of BI and data requests, balancing strategic initiatives and ad hoc needs to ensure timely, high-impact delivery aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive and support Data Enablement initiatives that improve data accessibility, standardization, and usability, with a focus on delivering self-service capabilities that empower business users and accelerate insight generation.
  • Identify and advance opportunities to streamline data processes and reduce friction across the data lifecycle, improving speed to delivery, consistency, and overall effectiveness of BI solutions.
  • Partner with Digital & Technology (D&T) to define, design, and deliver scalable data solutions that enhance access to trusted data and support faster, insight-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of the Group insurance industry.
  • Strong history of BI solution delivery.
  • Broad knowledge of data architecture design (data marts, etc.) and data analysis principles.
  • Strong SQL and BI skillsets (Tableau).
  • Strong background using technology to effect process improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and lead teams encompassing highly technical resources.
  • Proven ability to build and leverage relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • Very strong ability to communicate and present to senior and executive-level management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience handling ambiguity in high-visibility enterprise initiatives and the ability to establish structure and direction.
  • Proven ability to link business objectives with appropriate reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Experience managing complex projects and timelines.
  • Experience managing staff in a virtual environment.

Pay

$110,350.00 - $181,285.00
