About the role
The Business Intelligence Lead role focuses on leading and developing data & BI solutions for Group Insurance. This includes working with business leaders to design and develop scalable reports and dashboards, ensuring consistent and high-quality end-to-end BI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with business leaders to understand project requirements and develop integrated, end-to-end BI solutions.
- Oversee and guide BI & data resources across the delivery lifecycle to ensure consistency and end-to-end quality.
- Lead prioritization of BI and data requests, balancing strategic initiatives and ad hoc needs to ensure timely, high-impact delivery aligned to business priorities.
- Drive and support Data Enablement initiatives that improve data accessibility, standardization, and usability, with a focus on delivering self-service capabilities that empower business users and accelerate insight generation.
- Identify and advance opportunities to streamline data processes and reduce friction across the data lifecycle, improving speed to delivery, consistency, and overall effectiveness of BI solutions.
- Partner with Digital & Technology (D&T) to define, design, and deliver scalable data solutions that enhance access to trusted data and support faster, insight-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of the Group insurance industry.
- Strong history of BI solution delivery.
- Broad knowledge of data architecture design (data marts, etc.) and data analysis principles.
- Strong SQL and BI skillsets (Tableau).
- Strong background using technology to effect process improvements.
- Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and lead teams encompassing highly technical resources.
- Proven ability to build and leverage relationships across diverse stakeholders.
- Very strong ability to communicate and present to senior and executive-level management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience handling ambiguity in high-visibility enterprise initiatives and the ability to establish structure and direction.
- Proven ability to link business objectives with appropriate reporting and monitoring tools.
- Experience managing complex projects and timelines.
- Experience managing staff in a virtual environment.
Pay
$110,350.00 - $181,285.00
