Power BI Architect

About the role

The Senior Power BI Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced Power BI solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making processes within the organization. They will be expected to lead the migration of legacy reporting architectures to Power BI, leveraging their expertise in the Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) stack, particularly SSAS and SSRS.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy reporting architectures to Power BI
• Design and implement advanced Power BI solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into actionable business reports
• Pull data from Databricks into Power BI

Requirements

• 12+ years of total work experience
• Excellent knowledge in Power BI Development and Architecture
• Experience moving legacy reporting architecture to Power BI
• Knowledge of MSBI stack specifically SSAS & SSRS
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of data integration and ETL processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven track record of success in leading complex Power BI projects
• Experience with Power BI development tools and APIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $120-150K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
