Power BI Architect/Senior Developer

Role Overview

Candidate should help get new implementations started, make updates, guide teams on updates to production reports, and triage challenges offering solutions based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Power BI (Desktop, Service) DAX and Power Query (M) Data modeling concepts
• Data warehousing (fact/dimension, star schema)
• ETL/ELT processes
• Azure, Fabric, or cloud data platforms (preferred)
• APIs and data integration tools
• Experience working in Microsoft Fabric to create Power BI reports
• Communicate with business to gather requirements and translate into an immersive BI experience
• Understand Target State BI Architecture plan and deliver components as we go
• Understand access, connections, and security models for data and report access
• Guide existing BI developers, oversee and verify delivery, train/upskill existing resources
• Understand best practices for Fabric/Power BI delivery implementations

Requirements

• Must have experience working in Microsoft Fabric to create Power BI reports
