Power BI Analyst

Supports the TSA Deployment Sustainment Division by designing, developing, and maintaining daily and weekly Power BI reports and dashboards. Transforms operational data into accurate, automated, and actionable reporting products that support leadership communications, performance management, and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting.
• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective visualizations and KPI tracking.
• Collect, clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources using Power Query, DAX, and related tools.
• Automate data refreshes and reporting workflows to improve timeliness and accuracy.
• Validate data quality, reconcile discrepancies, and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Develop performance metrics, trend analyses, and exception reporting to support deployment and sustainment oversight.
• Maintain report documentation, data dictionaries, business rules, and user guides.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests and dashboard enhancements based on evolving mission needs.
• Apply role-based access, workspace management, and report publishing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Microsoft Power BI certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• 3–5 years of experience; preferably the 300-level Power BI certification

Pay

$115,000–$138,000 (annual), based on qualifications and experience.
