Main Responsibilities
- Detail masking, part preparation, powder coating, and quality inspection
- Maintain all powder coating equipment and materials
- Monitor oven operation and curing times
- Cook with staff on workflow and scheduling
- Maintain catalog of colors and curing temperatures/times
Secondary Responsibilities
- Help maintain a clean environment in the shop
- Help with part preparation, including sandblasting, Iron Phosphate pretreatment, and packing of parts when needed
- Help maintain inventory of powder and supplies
About the role
SDL Studios is a family-owned and operated company with 35+ years of experience in powder coating services. Located in Toms River, New Jersey, we serve both manufacturing and military customers. Our business operates Monday through Thursday from 7am-4:30pm and Friday from 7am-11am.
Pay and Benefits
Pay starts at $28/hour and increases rapidly with experience and performance. No benefits are offered at this time.
