Powder Coat Technician

Top 5 Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory for powder coating materials
• Follow and adhere to the ERP schedule
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment (6S)
• Maintain the powder coating equipment properly
• Ensure the quality of process standards is maintained

Additional Responsibilities / Duties

• Develop and maintain a tracking system for powder coating materials to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
• Provide feedback on the ERP schedule to improve workflow efficiency and address potential bottlenecks
• Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times
• Regularly inspect and troubleshoot powder coating equipment to address maintenance needs proactively
• Maintain detailed records of coating processes and quality control checks for continuous improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Prior experience in powder coating or a related manufacturing role is preferred
• Basic understanding of powder coating equipment and processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to heat and chemicals
• Strong focus on quality assurance to meet process standards
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including 6S standards
