Pour Line Lead

Responsibilities

• Learn foam machine operations for daily production.
• Set up foam machine and foaming computer for pour production.
• Start up and shut down foam machine for production.
• Supervise foam machine during production and make adjustments as necessary for optimal product yield.
• Follow work schedule and notify the Pour Line Supervisor, Pour Line Manager, and other support departments of any deviations.
• Ensure pieces are produced on time with a high degree of quality.
• Motivate employees to achieve maximum productivity.
• Perform required Quality audits.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Act as a self-motivator requiring minimal supervision; demonstrate analytical skills and initiative.
• Participate in RCA investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Safety

• Lead daily Safety Huddles to ensure compliance within respective areas.
• Maintain good housekeeping and a clean, safe work environment.
• Uphold the 5S Process.

Leadership

• Support the Pour Line Supervisor and Pour Line Manager in all company decisions and policies; address disagreements privately with management.
• Report issues where company policies or procedures are not being followed.
• Provide work directions for departmental employees.
• Ensure professional working relationships across all departments.
