Poultry Grading Lead

Supervisory Experience

• Manage a team
• Work with day old chicks
• Collect birds for moving, weighing, and vaccinations
• Work with live animals and the associated environment
• Collect blood samples, band/tag or remove tags from birds
• Follow Animal Care Standards, Animal Welfare Guidelines, and Bio-Security polies and procedures
• Perform tasks involving chemicals such as detergents, disinfects, etc.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner as trained
• Work in a farm environment with farm related smells or odors and loud/noisy environment
• Work up to 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

• Understand oral and written instructions and perform simple tasks
• Perform work that is repetitive in nature
• Stand for long periods of time
• Grip, grasp, or twist using hands and wrist
• Lift, carry, push, pull up to 50lbs
• Bend and stoop throughout the shift
