We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Engineer to support enterprise database development and administration.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on PostgreSQL development and administration
- SQL optimization and query tuning
- Database performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Production support
- Backup, recovery, and replication
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in PostgreSQL
- 7+ years of PostgreSQL experience (strong production support, database optimization, and troubleshooting highly preferred)
- Strong SQL and query optimization skills
- Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Backup, recovery, and replication experience
- Linux/Unix environment experience
Skills
- AWS or Azure exposure (good to have)
- Python or Shell scripting (good to have)
- Monitoring tools (pgAdmin, Grafana, Prometheus) (good to have)
- Banking or large enterprise experience (good to have)
Location: Austin, Texas – 5 days onsite. Contract role (C2C or W2).
