About the role
The Jevtic laboratory investigates how the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) regulates gene expression via the E3 ubiquitin ligase SCF-FBXL14 and its interaction with Groucho/TLE transcriptional co‑repressors, aiming to understand how defects in this pathway contribute to congenital disorders and cancer. The lab uses human stem cell and cancer models combined with genomic, proteomic, biochemical, and structural approaches, leveraging Cedars‑Sinai’s medical expertise and clinical resources to translate mechanistic insights into therapeutic strategies.
