Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate - Cancer Genomics and Therapeutics
Responsibilities
Processing and analyses of clinical samples
Conducting cellular, molecular, and in vivo experiments for hypothesis-driven research
Performing computational and bioinformatic analyses
Preparing presentations and publishing scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator
Requirements
- Recent Ph.D. graduates with a successful publication record in scholarly journals
- Hands-on experience with high throughput assays and next-generation sequencing-based platforms
- Experience in preclinical studies using leukemia mouse models
- A strong background in cancer biology, immunology and computational biology, bioinformatics, or biostatistics
- Computational skills, including experience with bioinformatic tools and packages
- Experience with data mining, especially for ‘omics’ datasets, or developing pipelines/software for large biological datasets
Qualifications
- Ph.D.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with working in teams, as well as the ability to work independently
- Ability to submit own fellowship and grant applications

The annual salary for this position is $70,304.
Schedule
The position is full-time and works 8 hours per day.

We are a translational genomics and experimental therapeutics lab focused on identifying and investigating novel therapeutic targets in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and developing new therapeutic strategies.
