Purpose

Applications are invited for a new Postdoctoral Scholar/Visiting Scientist position in modeling and control of inverter-dominated electric energy networks in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Santa Clara University. This is an in-person position at Santa Clara University, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. The position is available for 12 months, with a possible extension depending on funding availability. The start date is negotiable.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in power system modeling, inverter dynamics, parameter identification, distributed control, and MATLAB implementations.
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • A promising track record of high-quality research, including publications in journals.
